Ingredients:

There are a variety of salts available, however, Epsom Salt,  Himalayan Pink Salt, and Dead Sea Salt are the most common.

For baths, the grain size doesn’t really matter with the Himalayan Pink salt, however, for body scrubs, you would want to use a fine grain.

You can use any carrier oil of choice in these recipes, however, we will be using fractionated coconut oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oil.

DIY Aromatherapy Bath Salt Recipes

These are 6 of my favorite aromatherapy bath salt recipes you can make yourself.

1. Floral Bliss Bath Salt

This blissfully aromatic bath blend can greatly enhance sleep and provide a psychologically rejuvenating experience. Relax from the stresses of the day in a tub full of jasmine and rose. This will be so nourishing to both body and mind!

2 drops Rose Absolute essential oil

2 drops Mandarin essential oil

1 drop Jasmine Absolute essential oil

1 drop Vetiver essential oil

1/2 cup Himalayan Pink Salt

1 tbsp Jojoba Oil

1 glass jar (4oz)

Directions: Combine the essential oils with 1/2 cup of small grain pink Himalayan salt, and the jojoba oil. Add the mixture to your bath and swish around the salts until dissolved.

Tip: You can double or triple this recipe for future use. The ingredient with the shortest shelf life becomes the shelf life of the entire blend.

Safety and Dilution: This blend is less than a 1% dilution. No safety concerns. Safe for kids 5 and over.

2. Chamomile Lavender Bath Salt

15-20 drops Chamomile German essential oil

5-10 drops Lavender essential oil

2 cups Himalayan Pink Salt

1 tbsp Jojoba Oil

1 glass jar (16oz)

Directions: In a small bowl, combine the essential oils with 2 cups of Himalayan Pink salt, and the jojoba oil. Add 1/4 cup to your bath and store the remaining mixture in a glass jar.

1 drop Chamomile Roman essential oil

1/2 cup Himalayan Pink Salt

1 tbsp Jojoba Oil
