What You’ll Need:
- 2 oz flip top container
- 3 tablespoons Aloe Vera Gel
- 2 tablespoons 91% Isopropyl Alcohol
- 1/4 teaspoon Vitamin E Oil
- 4 drops Tea Tree essential oil
- 3 drops Lavender essential oil
- 3 drops Lemon essential oil
Natural Ingredients
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera has so many wonderful benefits! It is one of the best natural moisturizers! It contains antioxidants, vitamins and minerals which makes it wonderful for your skin. The gel is extracted from the interior leaf of the plant. Other healing benefits include soothing sunburn, relieving scalp itchiness and dandruff, and more!
Vitamin E
I love using Vitamin E in this recipe due its natural hydrating properties. Not only does it act as a cleansing agent, it rejuvenates and restores dehydrated skin.
Alcohol
Alcohol’s natural disinfectant properties are commonly used in wound care. It’s germ killing powers make it an important ingredient in this recipe.
While 70% alcohol is the best, 60% is the minimum amount to be considered effective for disinfecting. One downside to alcohol is its tendency to dry out the skin.
